ABOUT THE BUSINESS OPERATIONS SPECIALISTS PROGRAM

ONLINE MERCHANTS

What is a Business Operations Specialist-Online Merchant? Conduct retail activities of businesses operating exclusively online. May perform duties such as preparing business strategies, buying merchandise, managing inventory, implementing marketing activities, fulfilling and shipping online orders, and balancing financial records. Most work from home managing business full-time.

Prerequisites: Be approved for WIOA job training by East Texas Workforce Solutions. Applicants receiving Snap Benefits, Medicaid or Housing Benefits easily qualify. Training costs are 100% paid by TWC for qualified applicants. 

Median Wages: (2018) $33.91 hourly, $70,530 annual
